District Playground is excited to present our first art opening, titled, “Dream It, Do It, See It, Be It.” The non-curated show of talented local artists reflects our participants success in making their dreams come to life.

We invite you to the opening party on Saturday, July 11th. We’ll have the grill going, music, a stone labyrinth, a donation bar, and workshops throughout the day. Come early and stay late! If you’re lucky, you’ll catch us dancing!

Artists include Doug Sanford, Christie Otvos, Christopher Hoppe, and a team of artists who participated on the Bright Idea sculpture series: Meredith Keen, Liz Kramer, Shannon Best, Tom Martin, Reggie Pointer, Casey O’Rouke, Mike Verdon, Barbara Stuckey, Brewster Thackery, David Freedman, Dan Dowhans, Ellie Baskins, Elissa Thompson, Solveig Mortesen, David Friedman, and Jennifer Woodward. Anita Flower, a reiki healer, will be creating a stone labyrinth and conducting workshops to those interested in learning more about the healing arts.
